Hi, very interesting video and information. Something we are working to further help your points are equal entry hole perforating charges to further assist equal pressure application.

Something that really interest me is the potential of TCP fracking, where we can perforate and frac with the same string, thus reducing frac time, fluid and crew costs dramatically. Your opinion on this potential, pros and cons would be very interesting.

Regards,

Gary Sutherland.

Hi Gary,

Thank you for the feedback. What is equal entry hole perforating? Are you using the diameter of the holes to balance the pressure?

The concept of using a TCP string that can remain in the well during fracturing is very similar to the coiled-tubing-activated completion systems. In my opinion, the primary benefit would be the ability to do a single-entry points for each stage in a time-efficient manner. The main challenge I've heard about with this concept is the number of perforating guns required and their ability to withstand the frac job. Have you seen anything different or any technology improvements that address these challenges?

This is an insightful article. Do read this link on perforating guns if useful. https://huntandhunt.com/services/perforating-gun-systems-for-oil-gas/
